The coke shape material such as  petroleum coke, Coal char, Coke particles,Sinter coke always with sharp edge, their abrasiveness is very strong, if adopt normal vibrating screening equipment with normal woven mesh, the coke material is easy break the mesh wire , and also easy block the mesh aperture.

So for the coke material, we have one specific screening equipment with sticks mesh, one end of the stick is fixed on the deck, another side is open, so the sticks mesh could vibration along when the screener vibration, the sticks self-vibration could avoid the mesh blocking problem.

And the stick diameters is much higher than the normal woven mesh wire, so the deck service life also is uch longer.

Salt comes in many forms including salt for consumption (table salt), or salt that is used to de-ice roads (rock salt). When it comes to salt screening, rates and efficiencies are the key factors. Often times, companies in the salt manufacturing industries need rates of over 100 tons an hour without compromising their ability to get an effective cut. Traditional vibration screeners have been used for these applications for years, but they have proven ineffective in lower micron ranges.

The food grade salt size always is between 20mesh to 60mesh, normal vibration model screener do not have high screening precision when meet high capacity request.

In two month ago, we meet one customer use vibrating screen for silica sand screening, that linear screener with 4 layer deck, the aperture size is 2mm, 1mm, 0.5mm and 0.125mm.

But they meet one big trouble when use the linear vibrating screener for silica sand screening as following

  1. The linear vibrating screener capacity is too little, much less than their request target capacity
  2. The mesh aperture is very little, so the mesh is easy broken under vibration motion, the 0.5mm and 0.125mm mesh will break after 7 hours to 10 hours.
  3. When the mesh broken, they need 5 people to spend 4 hours for the bottom layer mesh changing, that means half a day for mesh changing, it waste too long time and the total output could not meet their equest.

As last, we Mega Young Screening Technology Co.,Ltd offer them one them one solution, to use our MHG side doors acess gyratory screener to replace the existing problem vibration screener screener.

After 20 days , we install our MHG screener at site as following

This MHG model screener set up in one big fertilizer factory in China. And our MHG model screener in one ammonium sulfate production line.

In the past severial years, the factory adopt drum screener for the ammonium sulfate material screening, but they meet one big trouble with the drum screener, it always block the mesh aperture, and it is very hard to clean it. Because the ammonium sulfate material is with sticky. And they need speed severial days for the drum screener mesh cleaning every month. It waste many time and affect the production output.

So we recommed our MH model screener and MHG model screener at the same time, at last, we install the MHG side doors access gyratory screener at site to replace that old drum screener, after about 1 years operation, they are very satisfied on the MHG screener performance.

First, MHG screener increase the  capacity  50% at least compare the drum screener, drum screener only meet 40TPH, but our MHG could meet 60-80TPH.

Second, reduce the maintenance time, for MHG screener, two people could finish the mesh changing within 30 mins, but for drum screener, it need 6 people spend 2 days each time.

Third, because the MHG screener with self-cleaning balls, so the screening precision increased.

The perlite powder and little bulk solid always is with low bulk density, the vibrating motion model screener is not very good when screening low density material because the vibrating force with high frequency will bring the dust and little size material into the air, so the MH model gyratory motion screener with low frequency is one good choice for perlite material screening and separation, please see following pictures.

Mega Young Screening technology have rectangular gyratory sifter, round gyratory vibrating sifter and round gyratory tumbler sifter, the three model gyratory sifter all do the the reciprocating-gyratory motion one level plane or almost horizontal plane.

But still there are one major difference between the rectangular gyratory sifter and round gyratory sifter as following about the material moving path distance

1.Round gyratory sifter feed material flow motion as following

From above pictures, the inlet of round gyratory sifter is in the center of top cover, so the bulk material will be feed from the center of the sifter, and it also will fall down on the center of the sifter  mesh, and the sifter outlets on the edge of the sifter casing structure

The material will flow toward the edge of the sifter casing from the sifter mesh center, it could not move the whole sifter mesh surface,so the material flow path distance only a little longer than the 1/2 of the sifter deck diameter, for example, the sifter equipment diameter is 2m, the material movement path distance may only 1.2m, it is much shorter than the deck circle diameter 2m, so the sifting path is shorter than the screener deck diameter when adopt round gyratory  sifter.

2.Rectangular gyratory sifter feed material flow motion path as following

From above pictures, the rectangular gyratory sifter  inlet is on one end of the top cover, so the material will be feed from one end of the sifter casting, and discharged from another end of the sifter casing, the material flow will pass the whole sifer mesh surface.

The material will flow toward the end of the outlet after feed into the gyratory sifter equipment inlet, the material movement path will be along the whole length, and the material will to the gyratory motion along with the screener box, so the fact material moving path distance will be much longer than the sifter casing length, for example, the side door access gyratory sifter area is 1.2m*1.9m, the material flow moving path distance will be much larger than 1.9m, it is even 2 times of 1.9m, and the stroke of the screener is 60mm-88mm, the moving speed is higher, that is why the same   side access door gyratory sifter mesh area is 3-6 times of same area of round gyratory screener, for round gyratory tumbler sifter, the material along could use the 1/2 of diameter of the screener mesh, but for the side access door gyratory sifter, it could use even 2 times length of the gyratory screener mesh length, and have much higher movement speed

For vibration separation equipment for material screening, the bulk material is easy to block the mesh aperture or worn out the mesh if the bulk material is sticky or strong abrasiveness, so the labor need stop the separation equipment running, or need stop the whole production line, then move out the previous mesh for cleaning or changing one new, the mesh changing time is very important, if it too long, it will affect the whole production line and bring to much lost too company.

The best advantage of the side door access gyratory vibrating screen is that could save the mesh changing time, so it could reduce the production line stop time.

The screen mesh deck consist 2-8 pieces of little panel deck, so the area and weight will be 1/8–1/2 of previous one layer complete deck, so one person could change the mesh in one narrow space, it is very convinence.

Most screener equipment could meet the screen aperture blinding problem, the blinding problem always reduce total screen mesh area,
then decrease the screening and separation capacity.
There are mainly following reasons cause the screener mesh aperture plugging:
1.The bulk material size and shape is near the mesh aperture size, the particle material is hard to escape from the aperture when it fall
in.
For this case, selecting one proper screening aperture screen mesh is important.
2.The material is moisture with water or oil, it is sticky, and the little particle adhere to the inside of screen aperture.
If meet this situation, we add one process to reduce the moisture of the particle material.
3.There a are too many fibroid material in the material flow, the fibroid always twine on the screener mesh.
For the fibroid material, selecting one screening equipment types is very important, we need try the best to avoid the vibratory of screen
mesh, the rotary or gryatory motion screener is one good choice.
